This is the latest development from Livia Firth’s communications consultancy, which has worked on sustainability initiatives with fashion companies including Matchesfashion, Stella McCartney, Gucci and Kering. The new Eco-Age website will provide content on everything from social justice to travel, beauty, food, fashion and politics, with the aim of putting sustainability on the agenda and inspiring transformation.
The content is both exclusively created by an array of contributors including Annie Lennox, Lucy Siegle, Wilson Oryema and Sjaniel Turre, and curated from across the web. The site will also offer a fully searchable catalogue of lifestyle products.“I am thrilled to be finally working with Dolly,” says Livia Firth, founder of Eco-Age. “We started The Green Carpet Challenge together back in 2009 when she gave Lucy Siegle and myself the opportunity to launch our blog on Vogue during the Awards Season and she has been a huge supporter of our work ever since. Her incredible knowledge and passion are a real inspiration and the Eco-Age team, and I are beyond excited”.Jones added: “Working with Livia and her Eco-Age team is a huge privilege. I have admired their work for years and I’m really excited about driving their message for consumers and businesses and social change generally, as we build Eco-Age.com into a platform to inspire and galvanise further positive change.”Since soft launching in September, the new site has seen traffic rise by 35% and engagement by 48% year-on-year. We want to pull together all the most exciting and inspiring stories out there to help drive the agenda of sustainable living,” Dolly explains. “We’re focused on celebrating progress, not on attaining perfection. It’s never supposed to be a lecture – but hopefully a collective challenge that we can all be inspired by.”
